Time Bomb’s Big 20!
We published a story on this earlier in the week, but in case you missed it - we’re turning 20 next year! This is an amazing achievement for any indie comic publisher, and it’s absolutely true that we wouldn’t still be here if it wasn’t for all of you. THANK YOU!
What does this mean? Aside from Time Bomb being almost old enough to drink in America, we’re going to be publishing loads of new comics. First up, Amnesia Agents - The Collected Edition from writer Jason Cobley and artist James Gray!
Due to be officially launched at the High Vis Comic Con taking place in King’s Heath, Birmingham on 19 September 2026, with the creators in attendance, it’s a returning Time Bomb classic containing the 2018 graphic novella alongside the strips from our popular Brawler anthology, as well as some brand-new material that frames and completes the story. Then, launching at Thoughtbubble Comic Con in November, we’ll be continuing celebrations with the launch of The Patrolman Book One, from writer Nick Twyord and artist Will Chetwynd. The first of a five book series set in an alternate London, this is a dark scifi crime series destined to become a favourite.

Space Banshee Exorcist screams and soars!
I mentioned this already, but it was wonderful to see so much support for mine and Danielle Wiebe’s Space Banshee Exorcist! Finally finishing the campaign with over £800 more than our target, I’m more excited than ever about this book getting into people’s hands!
And if you missed out on pre-ordering your copy don’t worry, there should be a chance for you to get one sooner rather than later…
Down the Tubes needs your help!
Time Bomb wouldn’t have made it to 20 without the support of the British comic scene, and since starting in 1998, John Freeman’s Down the Tubes website has been a huge part of that.
Run by Freeman and a team of dedicated volunteers, it has a little bit of income from ads and affiliates, but doesn’t have capacity to cope with massively increasing hosting costs, up to just over £2100 from £1500 two years ago.
Currently they’re looking for support to their fundraiser. You can find find out more about this, and about their long history on their website now.
